Pianist - Improviser - Sound artist

Born in 1990, he has always loved music. His musical journey started in 2001 when he began learning piano and keyboard with Maestro Paolo Congia. He then went on to study classical piano at the G.P. da Palestrina Conservatory and the “Scuola Civica di Musica” in Cagliari. At the same time, he started performing live with rock and blues bands. In 2009, he switched gears to jazz piano at the G.P. da Palestrina Conservatory of Cagliari and graduated in 2013, presenting a thesis about how musical listening affects composition, showcasing his own pieces. During this time, he began teaching piano in different music schools, while continuing to compose and perform across different musical styles.

 

His interest in electronic music grew, leading him to pursue a master's degree in electroacoustic improvisation at the Martini Conservatory in Bologna with Maestro Francesco Giomi. He started in 2021 and finished his studies with honors in 2024.

 

Throughout his career, he has graced plenty of prestigious stages including "Umbria Jazz," "Time in Jazz," "RoBot Festival," "Eufonica," "Miniere Sonore," "ARIA - Tempo Reale," "Dromos Festival," "Sant'Anna Arresi Jazz, " "Isole che parlano," "Signal Reload", "Forma e poesia nel Jazz," "Musica sulle Bocche," and "Casa Dalla," among others. Notable projects he is involved in encompass “Sprigu,” “Freak Motel,” "Slow Nerve" and the Bologna-based electroacoustic improvisation collective.

 

Since 2019, he's been one of the artistic directors of the music festival “Seuinmusica.” Currently, he's also a music educator at various institutions in Bologna, all while continuing his work as a composer and live performer.
